HuHu connects real people, animals and services in your neighbourhood. A few precautions go a long way โ please read this before you buy, sell, breed, or book any service.
For Buyers
- Ask for vaccination records, health certificates, and (for pedigree pets) registration papers before you pay.
- Pay only through HuHu's in-app payment options โ this is what keeps the 24-hour return policy and dispute support valid.
- For exotic species, check the seller's Parivesh/wildlife registration; never buy a Tier 3 protected species.
- Book vets, groomers, walkers and day cares only through verified in-app profiles โ don't share OTPs or pay outside the app.
- Check toys, food, and accessories on delivery for expiry dates, choking-hazard warnings, and material safety before giving them to your pet.
For Breeders & Sellers
- Only list species and breeds permitted under Indian law, and complete Parivesh registration for Tier 2 animals before listing.
- Disclose health issues, temperament, and vaccination status honestly โ non-disclosure can lead to a valid return claim.
- Verify buyers (ID and address) before handover, especially for high-value or breeding animals.
- Never accept payment outside HuHu โ off-app payments aren't covered if something goes wrong.
- For breeding matches, agree on housing, timing, and vet checks with the other owner before the meet-up.
- Keep the animal's living space clean, healthy and stress-free โ buyers may ask to see it before agreeing.
For Service & Shop Bookings
- Share your pet's medical history and allergies with any new vet, groomer, or walker before the appointment.
- Confirm a walker's or day care's identity and insurance status in the app before handing over your pet.
- Choose age- and size-appropriate toys, food, and supplements, and stop use immediately if your pet reacts badly.
These guidelines are for prototype purposes โ final safety and legal content should be reviewed by veterinary and legal experts before launch.
